Project Description
Kuusakoski Gävle
Kuusakoski’s facility in Gävle is a recycling and production plant in the Port of Gävle, where metal and electronic scrap is, amongst other things, sorted and processed in a shredding plant.
Incendium has supplied a complete fire detection and suppression system for Kuusakoski’s facility. The solution combines fixed nozzles (MON) and remote-controlled monitors (RCM) with an IR camera-based detection system from Termisk.
The supply included a complete 20-foot container, a sprinkler tank, several towers with remote-controlled monitors and MON nozzles to protect against flying sparks. The system is designed to quickly detect, localise and extinguish fires in the demanding recycling environment.
Pump and dosing systems housed in containers provide an excellent and flexible solution when there is a lack of space in existing buildings or when there is no building at all.
A container can house various types of foam tanks, pumps, motors, dosing units, as well as electrical and control panels. Our design department produces drawings based on requirements and preferences. Consequently, each container looks different depending on the solution required for the specific project. These are fully bespoke solutions, just like most of what Incendium supplies.
