Brenntag in Kalmar is a chemical plant situated at the far end of Tjärhovet in the Port of Kalmar. The plant handles, amongst other things, the storage, blending and bottling of products for further distribution.

Incendium has supplied fire protection for the plant, with solutions tailored to the specific fire risks and operational requirements.

The tanks are protected both internally and externally with a combination of RCM, MON and TFG. The systems are designed to quickly combat a fire, limit its spread and protect nearby equipment and structures.

In the warehouse buildings, UFG light foam generators are used in conjunction with MON water monitors. The light foam can rapidly fill large volumes and create an effective extinguishing and fire-containment effect, whilst the water monitors provide targeted and flexible firefighting.

The project is an example of how Incendium combines its own proprietary products and technical expertise to create comprehensive and bespoke fire protection solutions for demanding industrial environments.
